Day 1 in Jammu. Our first day in the state and it was raining and freezing cold. Coming from Mumbai, we were not used to the weather but this conversation about #menstruation got us warmed up. Along with a few Swacch Bharat Preraks, we had a session with some enterprising ladies who had come to visit the office of Director of Rural sanitation in Jammu. They ladies make cloth bags and are looking to sell them in Jammu. We learned many interesting things about how they deal with periods and they were so happy sharing their stories!
